Student Council
A Student Council was started in 2006. The Council is a "student elected" group made up of a representative from each of the Year 4 - 6 classes. Year 0 - 3 classes are represented on the Council by one of the House Captains or by an appointed Year 6 student.
The purpose of the Council is to create a communication link from the student body of the school up to Management and BOT. It also exists to enhance leadership capability and provide leadership opportunities for the students involved.
Meetings are held every fortnight under a formal meeting structure. Council members meet with the classes they represent before meetings and report back to them afterwards. Where possible a BOT member attends each of the Student Council meetings.
